Metalwax Tri Pack, Top wax, and Metal Cleaner HP are all the products you need for cleaning and maintaining your boat. Metalwax product line covers offshore raceboats, V-drives, jet boats, drag boat, yatchs, cruise ships, commercial fishing boats, aluminum boats, pontoon boats, house boats, mastercraft. Cleans and polish fiberglass, stainless steel, brass, diamond plate,paint gel coat, aluminum, acrylic windshields, and glass.




Beautiful view of a high performance polished pontoon boat. the pontoons were cleaned first with the twin pak of HP cleaner. Then the metalwax gel polish was applied to the surface and buffed with a high speed buffer. 3 to 5 thousand rpm no load with a 15 amp motor. it takes a lot of horse power to polish pontoons the first time. After that, maintenance is easy. For 24 foot pontoons you will need 64oz of Metal Wax for both pontoons.

The Metal Wax polish is spread on the pontoon surface then bring the buffer to the pontoon working at a 30 degree angle and buff back and forth & up & down until each section is complete and the whole pontoon is polished. After buffing wash the pontoon with dish soap water & sponge then dry with towel walking back & forth holding the towel to the surface, NOT in a circular motion. This removes any left over black residue from the buffer.

On projects this size always work in 6 foot sections with the polish. You can clean them first in 6 foot sections or clean the entire pontoon then polish. The Spray Shine metal polish is used as a fast maintenance polish to remove stains and water marks after a run on the lake.

We showed you this photo so you can see how pontoons look when polished correctly & with metalwax. No swirls or black residue. They look like they were made that way,but they were really dull milled aluminum with no shine. An alternate to polishing is just to clean them with the fluoride cleaner. Brush on rinse with water, towel dry and you’re done. These 24 ft pontoons would need a twin pack (64 oz) Metal Cleaner HP. See Instruction inserts that come with every purchase for more details.

This engine from the boat pictured here has been polished with metal wax and run many times since it was polished. Notice the clarity in the shine. Metal wax stops shine decay in marine applications. Works extremely well in areas where fine detail is important. Metal wax clarifies chrome exhaust headers. Removes burned in water stains.
