This large Alcoa front wheel below is what a aluminum wheel should look like after polishing. If yours doesn't,it probably is coated with left over polishing compound that creates a hazy look. metalwax will remove the left over polish from previous polish and give you that "clear glassy look"

This wheel also polished with Metal Wax. This type wheel is difficult using compound type polishes because of the fine groves in the spokes.

With Metal Wax it's no problem. Just clean it with the cleaner we provide, then wax it. Our product is made of a soft gel . Metal Wax is wax, so there is no left over micro fine particles of rouge to hang in the groves. You get a very bright, clear, long lasting shine.

Here's another example. This wheel not only has five groves in the spokes it has a rolled rim. Very hard to polish using compounds. With Metal Wax you get a very consistent shine every time.

The truck wheel below on the left is a brand new wheel. It looks good until you compare it to the wheel on the right The wheel on the right is the same wheel that has been cleaned and polished with metalwax. Even a new wheel has left over buffing compounds in the pores of the aluminum.Our point in these photos is to show you how different and better your wheels look without the left over polishing compounds that every polish has except metalwax.

Here are more before and after photos of weld racing wheels. Notice how the wheel on the left has clouded out. This is caused by left over soap that sticks to the surface every time you wash the wheel.It is important to clean the wheel first to remove this old film and any left over polishing compounds.The cleaner you get the wheel the better the shine and the longer it will last.

The photo on the right shows the wheel cleaned and polished with metalwax. Metalwax is the only wheel polish made that you can wash off the black residue in minutes with soap & water instead of hours of buffing to remove the polish required with other brands

Before & after photo of an anodized wheel. (plastic coated) This wheel was trashed. It is 10 years old and was never cleaned or polished. The total work time on this wheel was under 10 minutes. The metal cleaner was used first in a spray bottle. Sprayed on wheel and a small angle handle nylon bristle brush was used to remove the ugly brown build up & stains. Our fluoride cleaner works very fast. 3 minutes is all it took to clean this wheel.

The Cleaner was then wiped off, then polished with the metal wax yellow polish. On an anodized wheel you will not get the black residue like on a un- coated aluminum wheel. We used paper towels as an applicator for the metalwax just to make it harder.

Once you burned your wheels with acid it's not easy to bring them back. Metalwax is the best shot at recovery.
